The elliptical cross trainer EX90 Plus swept the board in four categories of the worldwide largest innovation price for technology, sports, and lifestyle, the Plus X Award (04/2016). The EX90 Plus received the desired award in the categories: high quality, design, user comfort, and functionality. Furthermore, the EX90 Plus also won the award as best product.

Gold Award winner 2016/17 at the fitness trade fair ISPO

At the annual meeting of the fitness industry, the ISPO in Munich, the cardiostrong EX90 Plus was honoured with the Gold Award by a specialist jury. The jury stated as reasons: a high-quality, innovative home fitness elliptical cross trainer, which can also definitely be used semi-professionaly and which convinces by its noiseless mechanics. By means of the unique infinitely variable stride length adjustment, the cardiostrong cross trainer EX90 Plus offers an extraordinary training quality and diversity. The stride length can be adjusted from 45 to 65 cm. Five levels are directly selectable, between those you can adjust your preferred stride length - so yo ucan quickly change between the different stride lengths.

Which advantages do elliptical cross trainers with an adjustable stride length offer

On the one hand, an adjustable stride length of an elliptical cross trainer offers the advantage that different running styles can be simulated. Working out with a shorter stride length, the movement is rather similar to that one on a stepper; at the highest level, you can even run on the elliptical cross trainer. Both pedal surfaces are very close to each other, which makes a much more comfortable movement possible. It also cares for the movement of the upper part of the body. The multi handles allow that you can take many different grasping positions. This is not only comfortable for users of different heights - it is also recognised as being comfortable by many users to change the grasping position, when they do longer training sessions.

Cardiostrong EX90 is a robust, quiet machine. Pedals are comfortable. Step is natural. There is one weak side here. If you use predefined programs, you can not reduce the resistance, just increase it. But for user defined program, it is possible That's why I give only 4 stars

I am a tall man - and it can be difficult to find fitness machines in my size - BUT the EX90 Plus works fantastic for me. The length of the steps are perfect and it really helps me to get back in shape - and hopefully lose weight at the same time. The cross trainer is very silent compared to other cross trainers I have used - very good for private use. It was easy to put together - even though it took a little longer than described. Can recommend the EX90 Plus - for me it's a good buy.

Wir haben das Gerät im Dezember 2024 erworben und benutzen es regelmäßig. Anfänglich gab es eine störende Geräuschentwicklung, die nach einem Technikerbesuch (Ursache war ein Kabelbinder, der im Inneren des Gerätes falsch positioniert war) bis heute dauerhaft behoben ist. Das Gerät ist sehr leise, sehr stabil, absolut hochwertig. Das Trainieren macht unheimlich viel Spaß. Es gibt viele Einstellmöglichkeiten der Schrittlänge, so dass man zwischen Stepper- und Laufbewegung immer die gewünschte Position findet. Die Stangen bieten viele verschiedene Griffpositionen für die Hände. Ich kann das Gerät uneingeschränkt empfehlen . Man erhält eine hervorragende Qualität und das Trainieren auf Dauer macht unglaublich viel Spaß. Besonders die Kombination mit Kinomap hat sich bewährt. So kann man weltweit laufen und das Training ist in keiner Weise langweilig.... [Read more]

Wir haben den EX90 Plus nun seit Jahren bei uns im Fitnessraum im Einsatz und sind nach wie vor sehr glücklich mit unserer Wahl. Die verstellbare Schrittlänge ist ein absolutes Highlight und ermöglicht es uns, dass alle Familienmitglieder ihr individuelles Training angepasst an die jeweilige Körpergrösse und die für den Tag gewünschte Trainingsintensität / zu intensivierende Muskelgruppe auf dem Gerät ausführen können. Einfach ein tolles Gerät und ein verdienter Testsieger!

Zwischen Freude und Enttäuschung

Es handelt sich um ein sehr stabil stehendes, durchaus rund laufendes Gerät. Er wirkt sehr stabil durch die Metallkonstruktion und läuft, soweit ich das beurteilen kann, konsequent sehr rund und geschmeidig. Was aber wirklich störend ist und das "Premium"-Feeling komplett zunichte macht, ist das Klackern, Klappern und Quietschen bei jeder Umdrehung. Und das nahezu seit Anbeginn. Fitshop hat zwar 2x Techniker vorbeigeschickt, was ich als sehr positiv bewerte, jedoch trat einmal genau da das Geräusch entweder nicht auf oder es trat nach durchgeführten Maßnahmen keine dauerhafte Besserung ein. Wen Klappergeräusche stören, sollte die Finger von dem Teil lassen. Wen es nicht stört, der wird vermutlich sehr zufrieden sein. Die Haptik der Griffholme ist sehr wertig und angenehm. Die integrierte Pulsmesserfunktion ist wiederum absolut nutzlos. Bei HF von rund 150 Schlägen pro Minute werden meist Werte zwischen 72 und 85 angezeigt. Teilweise werden auch Werte über einen längeren Zeitraum angezeigt, obwohl man die Messdioden gar nicht berührt. Da wäre dem Endverbraucher mehr geholfen, wenn man diese "Funktion" gänzlich weglässt. Dann muss man nicht für etwas bezahlen, was m.E. vollkommen nutzlos ist. Kurz auf den Punkt gebracht: Pros: - stabiler, wertiger Metallrahmen - guter Rundlauf - sehr gute Griffholme und Verstellmöglichkeiten - Schrittlängenverstellbarkeit sehr nützlich Contras: - Klackern und teilweise Quietschen bei jeder Umdrehung - integrierte Herzfrequenzdioden messen Fantasiewerte ... Habe mir diesen Crosstrainer gekauft. Die Lieferung- und der Aufbauservice waren top. Gestern wurde der Crosstrainer von mir und meiner Frau getestet. Das Training mit dem EX90 Plus macht sehr viel Spass. Kein Knarzen oder Quietschen, dank der excellenten Verarbeitung. Die Beratung bei Fitshop war ein Erlebnis. Es wurden auf alle meine Bedürfnisse eingegangen.

Das Trainingsgeraet kam in einer sehr großen und schweren Kiste, alles sehr gut verpackt und einfach zu montieren mit einem Helfer. Sehr robuste und durchdachte Konstruktion die wohl eine lange Lebensdauer vor sich hat. Die Funktionen sind sehr gut zu bedienen, das Beste was ich bisher hatte. Trotz des hohen Preises uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Nach langer Recherche habe ich mich für den EX90 Plus entschieden – und es war definitiv die richtige Wahl. Der Bewegungsablauf ist angenehm natürlich und die verstellbare Schrittlänge ist ein echtes Highlight – meine Frau und ich nutzen das Gerät beide regelmäßig und können es individuell anpassen. Der Crosstrainer steht bombenfest und läuft sehr leise, was ideal für unser Wohnzimmer ist. Das Trainingsgefühl erinnert wirklich an Studiogeräte.
