The Gungnir Allrounder not only features the innovative SlideLock technology, but also has the highest conceivable quality in terms of workmanship and material properties. This makes the barbell extremely strong, highly durable and therefore one that will last a lifetime.

Quick change – Firm hold

The SlideLock locking mechanism is based on a titanium sliding mechanism containing a powerful neodymium magnet. To change the weight, the slider is lifted slightly and sunk into the outer end of the barbell. The slider is extremely smooth, which makes changing weights comfortable while saving time. Once the SlideLock is engaged in one of the attachment grooves, it securely holds the loaded weight in place.

The exceptional strength of the locking system is not only due to the slider itself, but also to the weight holders. Computer-controlled precision machines have been used to create closely spaced grooves in these. The weight holders are made of high-strength steel and coated with a hard nickel layer, protecting them from impacts and wear and tear.

The best quality for your performance

Gungnir of Norway uses self-lubricating bushings for the weight holders. The steel-encased bronze bearings have high-quality lubricant all around, which makes them extremely low-maintenance and durable.

Depending on the variant (whether a 15 kg or 20 kg bar), the total length is 201 cm or 220 cm, respectively. The maximum load capacity is a full 500 kg as well as 690 kg. The shorter bar has a handle diameter of 25 mm, the longer one 28 mm. These values correspond to the IWF (International Weightlifting Federation) specifications for men's and women's competition bars.

For the knurling of the barbell, a perfectly balanced thickness was chosen. The excellent grip of the bar is supported by the satin chrome surface.
