The Bodycraft SG2 Super Gym is a versatile, freestanding cable machine that can be enhanced with a Half-Rack-/Smith option. Even without this attachment, the SG2 offers endless possibilities for functional strength training at home thanks to its two multi-adjustable pulleys.

Freestanding cable machine with 2 weight stacks

The SG2 Super Gym features two 90 kg weight stacks, which can be used independently and adjusted in 4.5 kg increments. Thanks to the 2:1 resistance ratio on the pulleys, weight adjustment is even more precise. Although this halves the effective weight lifted, this is usually not a problem for most exercises and offers significant advantages. Firstly, weight adjustments are much more precise, which is particularly advantageous for arm and shoulder exercises. In addition, the cables can be pulled out further (as with a block and tackle) providing more freedom of movement for a variety of exercises and making them more effective.

However, the SG2 is also designed for exercises that are typically performed with heavier weights, such as rowing and lat pulldowns. You can connect the handles to both weight stacks at the top and bottom of the machine, allowing you to train with heavier weights.

Multi-adjustable pulleys

Both pulleys can be adjusted to 31 different heights and rotated through 180° to offer maximum workout variety. The lower pulley is ideal for exercises such as bicep curls and seated rowing, while the upper pulley is perfect for lat pulldowns and tricep exercises. You can choose to train with just one or both weight stacks using these two pulleys.

The SG2 comes with an extensive set of handles. These include a triceps rope, two loop handles, a short bar, a lat pull bar, an ankle cuff and two link chains with snap hooks.

Without the Smith attachment, the SG2 Super Gym is one of the most compact freestanding cable machines available.

In addition, the SG2 can be upgraded with the Half-Rack-/Smith Option for extensive barbell exercises. The attachment is mounted in front of the SG2 and includes a Smith machine for safe, guided barbell training and a half rack with several shelves for free barbell training.
